Relatives Torture Woman To Death, Play Loud Music To Muffle Her Screams

The homicide passed off in the home of a pair who have been celebrating their son’s birthday.

A 23-year-old lady has been tortured to dying by her kin who suspected that she had stolen jewelry from their home in Ghaziabad. The girl was attacked with a blade and rods to get her to ‘confess’ and her attackers performed loud music to drown out her cries for assist. 

The accused fled after the lady died. Neighbours obtained suspicious and alerted the police immediately after they heard loud music taking part in in the home continuous for 2 days. 

Samina, 23, had gone to the home of her kin Heena and Ramesh in Ghaziabad’s Siddharth Vihar on Monday to attend the celebration of their son. Jewelry price Rs 5 lakh went lacking from the home and the couple suspected that Samina had stolen it.

Police mentioned Heena, Ramesh and others started assaulting the 23-year-old with sticks and rods. They even slashed elements of her physique with a blade to extract a ‘confession’ and performed loud music so their neighbours wouldn’t hear her screams.  

When Samina died due to the torture, the accused fled, however left the music on.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Ravi Kumar mentioned a search is on for the accused. “The accused performed loud music in order that Samina’s screams wouldn’t be heard. Neighbours alerted us after the music saved taking part in continuous for 2 days. Investigation is on,” he mentioned.
