GPs pushing for Medicare rebate increase

GPs are pushing for a $16 improve within the Medicare rebate to cowl the price of longer consultations and reverse the decline in bulk billing.

Docs may even push for taxpayers to fund $75 million price of incentives to draw extra medical graduates to decide on a profession in major care.

Solely 13 per cent of graduates are selecting to turn out to be GPs.
