Agriculture Minister Murray Watt has hit again on the EU over their claims Australia re-tabled agricultural calls for, which weren’t in step with earlier talks between officers.
“That’s completely not appropriate,” Mr Murray informed Sky Information Australia.
“It’s disappointing that the European Union can be placing that round.”
Mr Murray’s feedback come after stories revealed commerce talks stalled between the EU and Australia.
“The supply that Don Farrell had and placed on the desk is precisely what we’ve been flagging to the EU over the past three months,” he stated.
“About three months in the past, Don walked away – rightly – from the final spherical of negotiations as a result of the deal that the EU was providing wasn’t adequate.”
