BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 27. On the
initiative of the Worldwide Group of Turkic Tradition
TURKSOY, the Union (Affiliation) of Cinematographers of the Turkic
World was established in Tashkent, Pattern experiences.
The founding assembly was attended by heads of the movie business
in Turkic-speaking nations.
The occasion was attended by Orhan Fikretoglu, head of the
Azerbaijani Cinema Company, Azamat Satybaldy, president of the
Kazakhfilm Affiliation, Firdavs Abdukhalikov, director-general of
the Cinematography Company of Uzbekistan, Erkin Yılmaz, director
basic of the Turkish Cinematography Division, Akzhol
Bekbolotov, director of the Kyrgyz Cinematography Division, and
Salim Ezer, TURKSOY’s consultant on cinematography.
The Affiliation was based to revitalize the Turkic world’s
cinema artwork, to create joint movie initiatives and new movie productions,
to convey one of the best movies to the worldwide cinema stage, and to
create a unified movie distribution system for movies from
Turkic-speaking nations.
Sooner or later, there are plans to determine a Turkic World Movie
Academy, which is able to function a discussion board for Turkic peoples to
collaborate on cooperative movie initiatives.
