Individuals have been evacuated from an east Auckland grocery store after police acquired a report of a “bomb risk”.
A police spokesperson says a report was acquired shortly earlier than 6pm on August 12 of the risk made towards a retail premises on Pakuranga Street, Highland Park.
It’s understood the premises in query is the Countdown grocery store.

“The premises was closed by retailer administration whereas police attended and performed enquiries inside the premises,” the spokesperson says.
