Bomb threat at supermarket – Times

Individuals have been evacuated from an east Auckland grocery store after police acquired a report of a “bomb risk”.

A police spokesperson says a report was acquired shortly earlier than 6pm on August 12 of the risk made towards a retail premises on Pakuranga Street, Highland Park.

It’s understood the premises in query is the Countdown grocery store.

A number of individuals who have been on the retailer on the time posted concerning the incident on local people Fb pages.

“The premises was closed by retailer administration whereas police attended and performed enquiries inside the premises,” the spokesperson says.

“Right now the risk has not been substantiated and it’s believed to have been a hoax.”

The incident comes simply over every week since a risk was allegedly made to hold out a taking pictures at Botany Downs Secondary Faculty.

That risk, made on August 3, is being investigated by police and the college stays open for studying.
