Chick rescued from storm drain and reunited with mother hen

A video shared by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Workplace exhibits the mom hen trying on as her chick is rescued from a storm drain in Tampa, Florida.

Cleared drenched and a bit upset, the chick is rigorously eliminated and returned to its mom.

“Shoutout to Lieutenant Stearns and Deputy Trainor for his or her willingness to get their palms soiled to reunite a hen together with her chick,” the sheriff’s workplace stated on Fb.

The chick seems unhurt because it walks again towards its mom. The pair will be seen nestling collectively close to the grass.
