All authorities and personal main colleges in Delhi will stay closed for the subsequent two days in view of rising air pollution ranges, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal introduced Thursday evening. Air pollution ranges within the nationwide capital entered the “extreme” zone for the primary time this season on Thursday, with scientists warning of an additional spike over the subsequent two weeks.
In a publish on ‘X’, the chief minister stated, “In mild of the rising air pollution ranges, all govt and personal main colleges in Delhi will stay closed for the subsequent 2 days.”
In a separate communication, the Municipal Company of Delhi (MCD) stated bodily courses in its colleges will stay closed for the subsequent two days.
“In pursuance to order of Fee for Air High quality Administration in Nationwide Capital Area and Adjoining Areas, it’s determined that courses can be held by on-line mode in all MCD and MCD-aided colleges on November 3 and 4. Nevertheless, colleges will stay open for academics and employees,” the civic physique acknowledged.
