A person who was critically injured when the automotive he was a passenger in was concerned in a collision has died, gardaí confirmed tonight.
The collision involving two automobiles occurred on McCurtain Avenue in Fermoy, Co Cork, at round 8.40pm on Saturday.
The person who was a passenger in one of many automobiles and who was aged in his 20s was critically injured and was taken to Cork College Hospital. He has since died.
A person aged in his late 30s, who was a driver of one of many automobiles, was arrested on the scene of the collision and was detained beneath Part 4 of the Legal Justice Act, 1984, as a garda station in Co Cork.
He has since been charged in relation to the deadly collision and is because of seem earlier than Mallow District Court docket tomorrow morning.
Gardaí have appealed to any witnesses to the collision to return ahead.
Any street customers who have been within the McCurtain Avenue space between 8.30pm and 9pm and who’ve digicam footage, together with dash-cam footage, is requested to provide this to gardaí.
