A six-year-old woman has been taken to hospital with critical accidents after a crash in Co Westmeath on the M6 Dublin-Galway motorway.
Gardaí stated the single-vehicle street visitors collision occurred at roughly 4pm on Thursday on the M6 eastbound between junction 4 (Tyrellspass) and junction 3 (Rochfortbridge).
The woman, who was a passenger within the automobile, was taken to Kids’s Well being Eire at Temple Avenue with critical accidents. No different critical accidents had been reported, gardaí stated.
The M6 eastbound between junctions 3 and 4 was closed on Friday morning as a technical examination of the scene was being carried out. Native diversions have been put in place.
Gardaí are interesting for any witnesses to the collision to come back ahead.
