James Cleverly denies claims he called Stockton North a s***hole

House secretary James Cleverly has denied claims that he referred to as a Labour MP’s constituency a “s***gap”.

Alex Cunningham, MP for Stockton North, alleged the remark was made throughout PMQs on Wednesday.

Talking within the Commons later, the Labour MP for Stockton North referred to as out the house secretary and demanded an apology.

Mr Cleverly’s spokesman mentioned: “He didn’t say that, and wouldn’t. He’s disenchanted individuals would accuse him of doing so.”
