Estes Park, Colo. — A 25-year-old Rhode Island man died after falling and being pulled underwater at a waterfall in Colorado’s Rocky Mountain Nationwide Park on Sunday, in line with the Nationwide Park Service.
The person, from Windfall, hasn’t been publicly recognized. His physique was recovered Sunday night, officers stated.
Rocky Mountain Nationwide Park covers over 400 sq. miles of rugged mountains and excessive tundra, usually drawing over 4 million hikers yearly.
The deceased man fell at West Creek Falls, on the east facet of the park. His physique was moved to the Larimer County Coroner, on the northern fringe of Colorado, who will decide the reason for demise.
