As for the stadium, the Uttar Pradesh authorities, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is claimed to have spent Rs 121 crore on buying the land for the stadium whereas the Board of Management for Cricket in India will spend Rs 330 crore on its development, it stated.
There will likely be a spectator gallery resembling the steps of the ghats in Varanasi and the stadium can have a capability of 30,000 spectators and 7 pitches. Located close to the Ring Highway in Rajatalab space, it’s prone to be prepared by December 2025.
