Was it on the hunt for a pina “koala? Or only a koal-ity high-quality wine? Whichever it was, surprised staff at a bottle store within the Adelaide Hills had the right koala-fications to assist when a koala not too long ago visited.
The koala was recorded on CCTV swaggering into the Liquor Legends bottle store in Mount Barker, strolling up and down the aisles of the bottle store as surprised staff and prospects appeared on.
Grays Inn resort shared the video on social media on Tuesday, leaving some questions on its unlikely buyer.
One viewer wrote: “Poor little factor. We’re destroying koala habitats in huge numbers and the federal government doing little to save lots of koalas.”
“Koalas shouldn’t be sneaking into the wine division, as their pure habitat has been destroyed,” one other added.
City Pulpit Cellars at Mt Barker chimed in, including some humour to the unusual sight.
“That’s not his most well-liked bottle store, he was in grabbing a few 6 packs from us earlier,” they wrote within the feedback.
