Twitteristhreatening authorized motion towards Meta Platforms over its new Threads platform, Semafor reported on Thursday, citing a letter despatched to the Fb father or mother’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg by Twitter‘s lawyer Alex Spiro.
“Twitter intends to strictly implement its mental property rights, and calls for that Meta take fast steps to cease utilizing any Twitter commerce secrets and techniques or different extremely confidential data,” Spiro wrote within the letter.
Meta launched Threads on Wednesday because the social media agency seems to tackle Elon Musk’s Twitter by benefiting from Instagram’s billions of customers.
Meta and Spiro didn’t instantly reply to Reuters requests for remark.
